The layout that a business decides to set up will affect the long-run efficiency of operations. It has strategic implications due to a layout’s ability to establish competitive priorities in an organization in regards to capacity, processes, cost, and flexibility, as well as the quality of work life for employees, customer contact, and overall image in relation to the organizational branding.
