Before you actually start making updates to your site, check your SEO. An SEO report is an overview of important SEO metrics reflecting business growth, performance in search engines, backlink portfolio strength, and website health.
Look at what your competitors are doing with their websites before updating your own website. This gives an edge for your website to be a bit more up-to-date than your competitor, and also, you would have an idea of what to update.
Add some multimedia elements to your site when updating your website content.
Test different changes on your website. If these changes work, keep them and improve on them.
