Description and Objectives of the Course

The Business Model Canvas (BMC)  is a strategic management template used for developing new business models and documenting existing ones. The BMC is also a shared language for describing, visualizing, assessing and changing business models.  It describes the rationale of how an organization creates, delivers and captures value. Using this canvas will lead to value propositions, insights about the customers, what value propositions are offered through what channels, and how the company makes money. Furthermore, it can also be used to understand the business model of a competitor.

This course aims to:

  • Help learners understand the nine different building blocks of the business model canvas
