Learning Curves in Operations Management
- Learning curves, sometimes called as experience curves, are the premises that the organization gets better as it repeats tasks. To put more emphasis on this claim, a learning curve illustrates that the more one repeats the task, the easier it is to get it done (Reid & Sanders, 2012).
- Learning curves are important in operations management as they determine the labor times and productivity in business operations. This aspect is significant as it determines if the the business is capable to progressively produce goods and services for the same amount of work (Tosha Marketing, 2018).
