Demand Planning and Analysis in Labor Planning
Demand planning is an important component of labor planning. There are two type of demand planning (Louch, 2014): (1) Cultural and (2) Bottom-Up Planning.

- Cultural planning is focused on the competency of the business managers to deal with the uncertainties of the future in a more effective manner

- Bottom-Up Planning
- Bottom-Up Planning can be established from various corporate-wide outputs. This approach will depend on the current status of the organization.

Furthermore, careful analysis is necessary to achieve the success of labor planning. There are three types of analysis (Louch, 2014):
- Internal supply analysis
- Gap analysis
- Action planning
